I don’t know about you, but on my glow-up journey, TikTok has been an incredible support to discover new communities and tools.
Yet… it drives me crazy! Everything moves so fast on TikTok — something’s trending on Monday and gone by Thursday. I’m constantly trying to keep up, figuring out what really works and what’s just hype.
I’ve tested a lot of viral products and hygiene tricks so you don’t have to. Here’s what actually works (and what definitely doesn’t):

I tried it once , thought “meh,” and left it aside for months. Then I came back to it — and I promise, nothing else has ever made my legs smoother than my dry brush. I can’t tell you much about the lymphatic drainage benefits everyone swears by — I won’t lie and say I suddenly have zero cellulite or that my health improved by ten levels (nope, definitely not).
But I dry brush twice a week, and my legs have never been this soft. Try it for a few weeks and tell me if it does the same for you!
Yes, I tried it.
Yes, several times.
Yes, for a long time.
And no — it doesn’t work.
I’m 100% sure it only went viral because people were lying to sell it and make money off your chin. Period.
It does work, but it’s not magic. If you use it before a special event, your skin will look smoother and glowier, with fewer fine lines for a few hours. But the effects don’t last long. Using it every night might give better results, though I don’t think it’s great for your skin long-term — it needs to breathe!
So yes, it works, but it depends on what you expect from it.
Honestly? I’m not 100% convinced yet — i do believe it improves skin quality but I don’t have the science to back it up. I was saying about it in my articles about 5 articles to make your life fancier, but from my experience, it can help if you invest in a good-quality one (not a cheap one that just heats your face for nothing).
Yes. Go.
Shower yourself with them, put them everywhere (okay, maybe not drink them 😅). They smell delicious and last way, way longer than most expensive fragrances we’re used to. It might be trending for us now, but Arab women have known this forever — their hygiene is top-tier and they always smell divine. Let’s take notes!
I think I’ll make a full article just about Arab perfumes and hygiene secrets soon — let me know if you’d like that! 💌
